The concept is bad people will be punished. Good people will be rewarded. And everyone shpuld get their kids baptized. Those are the concepts. That's general. But different sects and churches go into more detail. Catholic doctrine states there is a place called Purgatory and a place called Limbo. That's quite literal. I know. And that's stupid. But --- stupid works with stupid people. And children. Stupid people and children are not mentally advanced enough to think conceptually. |
