I'm not disagreeing with you. But just because somebody is intelligent, doesn't mean they are correct about everything.

And just because somebody is generally intelligent, doesn't mean they are smart about everything.

I know many generally smart and knowledgeable people who have some real crazy ideas.

Obviously I'm an atheist so I don't think they're correct. But I've known some very stupid atheists and some very smart religious people. Religion or the lack of it have nothing to do with intelligence.
