What exactly is it you aren't understanding? If the world as you know it is going to drop away or end when you die, how the frick can it still be here for you? Its your world, your universe, your consciousness awareness of it. It can't exist, anymore than you won't be existing when your body dies. If you think it does, that will just lead to more issues of attachments and aversions of the mind.
