In order - no, that isn't a fantasy. The world will exist as it does now. And yes, things exist when I am not thinking of them or aware of them.

Now I will ask again, How and where do things exist, if you are not aware of them? If you think they do, then where is the evidence of the world existing, for the experience of those that are dead? Remember, I am not talking about your current momentary experience of existence, because you are arguing for existence after one is dead and gone.
