There is more than one side to a story and I will always believe this one over what the govt. has told us.

If you dare to read it then you will see that Koresh did all he could to end the standoff with peaceful means but the Govt. did not want to do that.
And as someone else mentioned above that is also brought up in the book, they had plenty of chances to arrest him when he was alone and in town or outside the compound.
So why didn't they?
