Burn the children up to stop them from being abused. Yeah, that makes all the sense in the world, doesn't it? Koresh burned the children up. No, he didn't. And I don't think the government meant to burn them up, but they botched the job and then blamed it on Koresh, and made up the story about the children being abused. It was the best that could be done at that point; a story for simple-minded weaklings to buy because the alternative was just too disturbing.
