That the characters are wizards? Right? Maybe not all of them, seeing as how Roman and Rafe had to use frequently flier points to get to Prague - maybe they're muggles, or maybe just one of them are. But the rest of them are wizards; because this whole double fake death and switch and Prague bullshit only makes sense if half these characters can just apparate from one place to the other in the blink of an eye.
I mean, this whole twist that Kate somehow swapping Marlena for Hattie makes no fucking sense to start with. Initially I was wondering if they were going to somehow play off the conversation we saw Kate have with Hattie in the Pub as actually being with Marlena, which wouldn't have made sense, but then it turns out that Kate conveniently managed to find Marlena at the loft or wherever, go back to Hattie and convince her to put her own life in jeopardy by allowing herself to be locked in this room where they figured Stevano would show up (why even leave anyone behind?) all while Gina and Stevano crisscrossing each other, Stevano heading from Prague to Salem and Gina from Salem to Prague.
But wait, it gets dumber, because while all that is going on, Marlena has gotten the drugs out of her system (Gina drugged her, right? It's been so long since that part of the story happened I can't remember...) got a ticket to Prague and flew across the Atlantic.
As did Roman and Rafe.
How many fucking flights go from Salem to Prague in one day; or even from Chicago to Prague or anywhere near Prague? I suppose it's conceivable that Gina and John was locked up for hours, maybe even a full day before Marlena showed up, but it's almost a guarantee that Rafe, Roman, Marlena and Kate all ended up on the same flight. Even as Roman and Rafe were heading to Prague to find Marlena; and since they were still looking for her when they arrived and ran into Tony and Annie, ostensibly they never saw her on the way there.
Or they just used magic, which in my opinion makes the most sense.
