That would be good. A total break from world cinema. Just make the Oscars for American made movies so there's no confusion. See how that pan's out for the Academy. They will fear the backlash of the faux outraged liberals, who just want to project dogoodedness. Has it ever panned out well for them regardless. They appear to make poor choices every year regarding what wins picture, in the eyes of the passionate? This year, it was about proving how wonderfully diverse they are and the conjecture was unfounded. So now, they have some evidence. Why are they "faux"? Why is their outrage not genuine?
