It should have been 3. I also haven’t argued against it winning the other 3, only the best picture issue. Had it not been in picture category and still been nominated for director, would Bong still have won director? I don’t recall in my lifetime, seeing a film ever win director, that wasn’t nominated for picture. Have you been this vocal all of the other 11 years that a non English language film has been nominated for best picture? Or is it only now that one has won? I would have been even more vocal if Parasite was Netflix.  I have a platform on here, like we all do to be vocal. It has always been something that crosses my mind. This year, I felt there were a lot of deserving English language films that missed out on nominations in various categories.
