Have you been this vocal all of the other 11 years that a non English language film has been nominated for best picture? Or is it only now that one has won? I would have been even more vocal if Parasite was Netflix.  I have a platform on here, like we all do to be vocal. It has always been something that crosses my mind. This year, I felt there were a lot of deserving English language films that missed out on nominations in various categories. There were many non English language films that missed out in various categories too. Parasite (as good as it is) was in my opinion about the 4th or 5th best foreign language movie of the year.
