Honeyland was a doco feature which was also in regard for international feature. Shouldn’t that at least made it the best doco by default? That would be true if HONEYLAND had been nominated for Best Picture, just as foreign movies nominated for B.P. win Best International Film by default. That's because B.P. encompasses all genres. AMERICAN FACTORY was chosen as the best of its genre-exclusive category, in which a nominee just happened to also be eligible for genre-exclusive another category.
