Chess match 2020: sitting on fastballs & hack for the fences. Think runs per game may be up a bit this year because of this?
I mean - more offense/excitement is always good for the casual crowd.
The goal for the next decade, at least, will be shortening the duration of games. I don't even think baseball cares if they're 3-2 ballgames or 13-12. If kids can be in bed before 11pm, it's a plus.
