I personally like the 3 batter rule for relievers. Now, that opinion may change once I see it in action but I like the premise of it. I find it highly annoying seeing a half inning last for 30 minutes because of constant pitching changes so a lefty can come in and face 1 batter. Since when are lefty relievers treated with such kid gloves that they can only pitch to lefty hitters? It seems like that has just increased and increased in recent years that there has become maybe a handful of lefty pitchers that are deemed worthy enough to face right handed hitters. If you're a left handed pitcher that can only get out left handed hitters, why are you in the major leagues?
