I do remember watching a few-second-glimpse at the Han/Jabba special edition scene on TV (as an advertisement for the re-release) and being intrigued by it. I remember thinking, 'Wow, how cool! A new scene!' I hadn't known of its existence before that moment. Speaking of...I wonder how Declan Mulholland felt about playing the original human version of Jabba the Hutt? I bet that doesn't exactly boost one's self-worth... This is something I remember being excited about because the scene was in the original novelization. Thing is, the movie was reworked to flow without the scene, so it feels shoehorned in now. I'm glad we got to see it, but the movie works better without it.
