The second comic book movie to be nominated for best adapted screenplay was A History of Violence in 2005.
So Logan was way late in that regard and really accomplished nothing of significance. A small movie, soon forgotten.
The historically significant event for comic book (and superhero) movies was, of course, the Black Panther nomination for best picture. Joker must thank Black Panther for paving the way and making it easier for a comic book movie to receive a best picture nod.
As far as Endgame is concerned, it will just have to settle for being the all time box office champ. It must be a bummer being #1.

even you can't tell me black panther was deserving. I can proudly tell you tdk and logan were deserving for best picture though snubbed, so happy joker got there, which is a movie more in the lines of those movies.
endgame been number 1 that no one wants to remember or is seen as a kids theme park. its quite embarrassing for endgame. just goes to show endgame is not seen as real cinema.
The fact is, neither TDK nor Logan were nominated for best picture. End of story. You don’t pave the way by failing. You can stop with the excuses why they failed. We care not.
I can tell you that Black Panther was deserving. How do I know? Just look at the massive list of awards it received outside of the Academy. Clearly it was highly regarded throughout the film industry and your attempt to paint it as an Oscars outlier is simply wrong. Learn to live with it, cupcake. Black Panther made history. TDK and Logan did not.
The other fact is - Endgame also made history and reigns supreme in the court of public opinion, via the only vote$$$ that really count. No other superhero movie even comes close.
Your butt-hurt opinions (widely regarded as completely worthless) are no match for the simple facts, no matter how many time you parrot them, to no avail.
