Saying black panther was deserving is a silly joke. what you mcu fans should be doing right now is hiding your head in shame when you think how black panther was only nominated because of racism, and joker was nominated because of the merit.

Black Panther is not even as good as batman begins or days of future past. so how the Heck did it get nominated over TDK and Logan.

... and like you said, the road to a comic book movie best picture nomination has been make easier now that the way has been paved. So, lesser movies have a better chance of getting a nomination. ), and in no way supersedes the opinions of the Academy voters who nominated BP for seven academy awards including best picture ... and the film critics who gave BP a 97% on RT ... and the movie going public who shelled out $1.3 billion dollars to repeatedly see a movie they so greatly admired.
