Great early 80's entry from Walt Disney. Took the cute out of cutsie and gave us one of their best productions from the 20th Century. Superbly shot, directed and wonderfully acted by Charles Martin Smith. I couldn't keep my eyes off him and he really holds this film together. Some sequences I was held in awe of. A riveting journey and very highly recommended.
