Spider-Man 3 Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers Resident Evil I liked all of those too James except for 'The Rise of Skywalker' which I am yet to see but would you say 'Jason Takes Manhattan' is still a disliked movie? I know it was when it first came out but I think it is one of those movies that has really gained a cult following over the years and I have met more people who say they like it than hate it. I think it was just disappointing in my opinion after finding out what the movie was supposed to be like but I still enjoy re-watching it and loved this song by Peter Fredette and Stan Meissner. It is not that bad and I find it better than Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday, which I do not really like at all. They all have their own charm, except 9, which I thought had none at all. I love Jason X, despite all the naysayers. It was a novel approach to place him into the future in outer space. I don't want to see the same movie, like they did 7 times with camp settings.
The only issue I have with the Friday's after 5, was the lack of gore and quick cutaway kills. They brought it back onto track with Jason X and then the terrific Freddy vs Jason. Part 2 would have been even better, if they hadn't sanitized it down as it has a great atmosphere and interesting characters. The MPAA were the biggest butchers, not Jason.
