German actress Sonja Ziemann has left us at the age of 94, on February 17th.
In the 1950s, she was among Germany's most prominent actresses, awarded the 1950 Bambi for playing, together with Rudolf Prack, in Schwarzwaldmädel 1950. From the 1960s, she turned to more serious acting in international films such as The Secret Ways 1961 and The Bridge at Remagen 1969. She also appeared on stage and in television.
