Age of Ultron is Underrated

Ultron, underrated? Hmmm. I both agree and disagree. It was always supposed to be a fun action romp and in that regard it succeeds. It is an enjoyable popcorn movie for sure. But at the same time Whedon promised a more character driven, darker part two (even referencing Godfather II!) and this film is decidedly not that. Also a lot of what worked the first time now falls flat. The relationships seemed forced and the dialogue is way too cutesy.

And that orange and teal color grading is beyond nauseating! 😫
