Watched Public Enemies once and never got interested. Given the talent and subject matter I tried again a few months later and gave up about 1/4 of the way in. I don't know what it is, but did nought for me.
P.S.
There Will Be Blood was my top pick for the year at the time. After several viewings of both, No Country For Old Men is now my number one of this century. A darn masterpiece.
