British theater, television and movie actress Frances Cuka has left us at the age of 83, on February 16th.
In 1958 she created the role of Jo in Shelagh Delaney's play A Taste of Honey, and continued in both West End and on Broadway, that started as a Theatre Workshop production.
In movies she played Ethel Cratchit in Scrooge 1970, and Mrs. Bedwin in Oliver Twist 2005, both based on Dickens.
