Deciding what movie to watch. Your approach?

For me it all depends on what mood I'm in. 60% of everything I watch is foreign. I love discovering new foreign films that I haven't seen.
There was an entire lifetime of movies before I was born so if it looks interesting or has actors that I like I'll watch it. Most of the time this works but
I still see some duds from time to time. This is why I gave up on watching new films. Not all but it has to blow me away for me to watch a new film.
