Yeah, Kristen's not working for me. I have nothing against Stacy's performance, I just think of Kristen the same way I did Stefano during his last run. She doesn't work as a character who's just... bopping around town, having lunch at the Pub, existing in Salem. She's a diabolical villain who should come and go when storylines dictate her presence. No one should tolerate someone like her around and Brady, misguided though he can be, should never be expected to date her. It's just weird. They've totally lost the thread on who this character is supposed to be. And annoyingly, now they have a freaking child together and are going to be connected forever.
On top of all that, I just don't think she and Brady have chemistry and I don't enjoy them together. It seems like we're in the midst of one of those cast upheavals that happens every couple years and I think Stacy Haiduk is another one who should go. Then, yes, this can certainly free Brady up to at least be in Chloe's orbit, even if I think the show should (and will) ultimately go with Philip as her main pairing.
