I only got to see it a few times, but it was good. It wasn't shown in the States nearly as much as Dr. Who.
Speaking of, I remember one of the actors who played Dr. Who saying that in Britain TV is an outgrowth of the theatre and in America TV is an outgrowth of movies, thus explaining less emphasis on eyepopping special effects in the British productions.
