I only got to see it a few times, but it was good. It wasn't shown in the States nearly as much as Dr. Who. Speaking of, I remember one of the actors who played Dr. Who saying that in Britain TV is an outgrowth of the theatre and in America TV is an outgrowth of movies, thus explaining less emphasis on eyepopping special effects in the British productions. ant-mac , what say you? It's one of my top three TV series, along with classic DOCTOR WHO (1963) and the original SURVIVORS (1975). You may remember that my "regular" avatar is of Paul Darrow in his role of Kerr Avon from BLAKE'S 7. Terry Nation created SURVIVORS, BLAKE'S 7 and the Daleks for DOCTOR WHO. He also contributed to many other TV series of that era which I deeply enjoy. However, at one stage during the late 1960s, I believe he withdrew the Daleks from DW and attempted to launch them independently in America, but failed. They subsequently returned to DW a few years later.
