Or Saladin and his Moorish empire that swept away the Crusaders and took control of Turkey ,
Southern Europe and Spain .
Europeans were responsible for destroying the Aztec Empire and enslaving them , then turned to
the African continent where they introduced widespread slavery .
Eventually the Europeans forcefully dominated continental America , destroying the inhabitants
and enslaving the local Indians to their culture .
To be fair ( and I can't see how I can be because I don't have much idea where this thread is going), the Mongol Empire only lasted for about 160 years and Saladin's fell apart shortly after his death.
Comparing the Conquistadors with the Aztecs is like comparing one bucket of crap with another, but the former were just one in a long list of folk who wanted to fettle the latter. If Hernan and his mates had not pitched up the Aztec Empire would probably have fallen to the long list of neighbours who did not like Montezuma and Co.
