Considering this is a bad robot movie and we already have confirmation that God particle is a Cloverfield movie, it wouldn't shock me in the slightest if this is also a 4th Cloverfield movie for 2018.
It also fits with the whole idea that cloverfield is kinda like the twilight zone with all those different stories. Nonetheless it sounds interesting.
