Honestly I can understand a month or so just to be careful, but a year is just pushing it. This isn’t helping the studios at all. This is just pissing people off.
I’m not saying don’t be cautious, but people are acting like it’s the end of the world. They act like this with every new disease. They didn’t postpone movies for the flu, so don’t for the virus either.
No one is acting like it's the end of the world. In the beginning I too thought we were overreacting because the media loves to sensationalize everything but the reason you aren't seeing a lot more death is because of the actions taken by medical professionals and politicians to slow transmission of the virus and the advanced health care available. Take those away and the death rate will significantly increase. Media sensationalizing is one thing but you would be wise to defer to the judgement of medical professionals.
