Can't help but wonder if the authenticity of some of the Israeli-held scrolls may not eventually be called into question as a result of this.
Also, sinner wot I am, I can't help laughing up my sleeve ever so slightly at this, although it is a sad thing from the archaeological point of view, I agree.
