Ok I have to chip in here. Actually The Avengers was my first MCU movie to see. And I understood everything perfectly. Of course after watching the rest of phase 1 my understanding was bigger and more deeply but to me it wasnt necassary to catch the main story. I find it very interesting to think about people who don't watch the entire thing. Obviously I can't replicate that experience, but I do wonder what each film would seem like if I hadn't seen anything else up until then. I dont think thats possible anymore. Look at Civil War. If you saw that one without the rest it would make no sense. |
