It's very smooth. I'm no expert, but taste-wise I would say ripe blackberries and dark chocolatey. Very full bodied, probably not for folk who prefer a 'lighter' wine, if you get what i mean? I like it, it's smooth drinking, not sharp like an orrible Shiraz or cabernet thing. PS... Bear in mind I have a cold, so my taste buds might be a bit askew innit. Sounds nice. Was it £5.35? It was £5.35, minus a 75p Co-op members discount that week, so £4.60
