for me i would say his most underrated is The Color of Money (1986) which never seems to get enough credit. but maybe some people dis it because it's not as good as The Hustler (1961) and while i agree it's not as good as that, it's still a strong movie.
but to comment on the movie in the topic... i can't comment much on The Age of Innocence (1993) as i have not seen it but just given my impression of it with the subject matter and trailer (i just watched the trailer a moment ago) i don't think i would think all that much of it. but with that said, it's possible i could like it (i just don't see myself scoring it higher than a 6/10 basically(i hope i am wrong as i like when i underestimate movies but that just don't happen much)).
hell, i might get around to seeing this soon enough as there are not many Scorsese movies i have not seen but this is one of them.
p.s. for those who don't know... The Color of Money (1986) is a sequel to The Hustler (1961).
