It is possible, but I seriously doubt it.

Howard Rollins was a very good actor, but he went to television instead of movies.

For anyone wanting to see them both in one GREAT movie, please see A Soldier's Story / Norman Jewison (1984).

While on that movie, also notice the great acting of Oscar nominee, Adolph Caesar.
