I thought he was great in Ragtime. OJ Simpson tried to get that role, but Forman went with Rollins. I can't even imagine OJ as Coalhouse Walker. I've always wondered if Simpson had the range and capacity to be a real actor. Certainly he showed comedic chops so who knows.
