Thanks for the very nice tribute, teleadm. Lang was another of those talented studio directors who made some imminently watchable films. He was no Michael Curtiz, but he did have a flair for making audiences happy with his films, and I think there's a lot to be said for that these days.
I enjoyed almost all of his films, but my favorites are The King and I, State Fair (1945), Sitting Pretty, With a Song in My Heart, The Little Princess (1939), Cheaper by the Dozen, and Desk Set.
