showing a royals & yanks game on mlb network from days of yore; think it's the pine tar game. u.l. is rocking the toothpick while at bat! why not a cig?  I remember ol' U.L., the oddest combo of letters for a shortened name ever. I believe his cousin X.V Washington and his uncle, I.I. Washington played minor league ball. u know it.
