No, that's wrong. My odds of contracting it if I come in contact with it are 50/50. 0 percent if I successfully practice self isolation and social distancing. If I contract it, I have a 50 percent chance of either getting sick, or experiencing no symptoms at all. If I do get sick, there is only a 20 percent chance I will need hospitalization. And if I need hospitalization, there is only a 4 percent chance I will die. I have a better chance of dying in a car accident. It's all about you isn't it. We don't all drive around in invisible vehicles, leaving us & anyone/everyone around us susceptible to invisible car collisions... only to learn about them up to 14 days afterwards. I'm not even responding directly to you cuz I just blocked you, yet I do think the prudent messaging from health & scientific leaders can't be stressed enough. It would be nice if they had even a passing concern about what their actions might mean for others.
