Questionable whether the Italian lockdown is working:- www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/italy/It had seemed to level off for a couple of days but then the new case numbers shot up again yesterday. Next few days will be interesting to see where this goes. You can see here why it may not work - e.g. Struggling to work out why takeaway services are still allowed to open. You've got workers from 3/4 different homes still coming into the same place and mixing, potentially already infected but asymptomatic, then the deliveroo / justeat guy arrives (prob a student living with 3/4 other guys who were out partying last weekend, also asymptomatic) comes in to that takeaway, then other takeaway, etc and goes door to door, in and out of apartment blocks, etc. 919 more deaths today.
