American vocalist, guitarist, songwriter, actor and model, Alan Merrill has left us at the age of 69, on March 29, complications from COVID-19.
He was the co-writer of, and lead singer on, the first released version of the song "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" recorded by the Arrows in 1975. The song appears on many soundtracks.
