As I've probably posted in the past, I'm not much of a horror fan, but I enjoy the occasional one. Of those mentioned so far, I really enjoyed Wolf Creek and The Witch. I'll add The Pyramid (silly and low budget, but strangely fascinating - I've watched it three times) and Rogue (from the director of Wolf Creek - giant crocodile, dumb tourists, you know the rest, but it's very well done). While on the other hand I heartily unrecommend the most recent one I watched - The Cabin In The Woods - what an utter crock of shite, in perfectly indirect correlation to it's pretensions. I have no doubt there are barely post-pubescent twats out there who think it's "existential". No. Just no.
