My top five: 1. Alexander Pierce 2. Loki 3. Zemo 4. Aldrich Killian 5. Winter Soldier The only reason WS is so low is because as bad ass as he is, as a villain he was pretty one note. Not much dialog, just a Terminator with long hair. Don't get me wrong, he's still awesome (still top five!), but I felt like the guys I listed above gave me more to chew on from a philosophical standpoint. They had real motivation and a vision for what they wanted to do. Not only is Iron Man 3 overlooked as a film, Killian is incredibly undervalued as a character. I dig his comments in the final fight about how Tony's tech is already antiquated; he's just a man in a shell while extremis makes Killian truly a living weapon. They really should do more with extremis in the future of the MCU. I think I'd place Ego sixth. It's fun that he doesn't see himself as the villain, then again who does? He's kind of a silly character with an edgier side, but that's what the script called for. I got a kick out of the giant dioramas on his home world. Sounds like something a 'god' would do; build little shrines to himself. He's certainly better than cardboard cutouts like Ronan and Red Skull. I'm really glad you value both Zemo and Killian. I love Zemo. I'll admit I'm one of those who isn't in love with IM3, but I actually am truly glad that you are. I think all of these films are awesome.
