Her actual words, without spin are as follows.
“I did not believe that I could make a good movie out of the script that they were planning on doing,” “I think it would have been a huge deal – it would have looked like it was my fault. It would’ve looked like, ‘Oh my God, this woman directed it and she missed all these things.’” “[Thor] was the one time in my career where I really felt like, ‘Do this with [another director] and it’s not going to be a big deal. And maybe they’ll understand it and love it more than I do.’
“You can’t do movies you don’t believe in. The only reason to do it would be to prove to people that I could. But it wouldn’t have proved anything if I didn’t succeed. I don’t think that I would have gotten another chance. And so, I’m super grateful.”
So yeah she didn't believe in the script, but thought maybe someone who did could make it work, has happened before, look at WW it's a pretty basic story with many flaws, Jenkins knew how to make the movie to make it work for the most part though, in someone else's hands WW could have easily just becomes a mediocre paint by numbers cbm, Thor 2 didn't have that benefit however.
Also how does Thor 2 being meh make it better or worse than fellow meh movie Dark Phoenix...have you yah marbles again? Assuming you ever had any to being with that is.
I almost have to wonder if he's TRYING to get banned from this place permanently. Nah who takes this much time and effort to intentionally look like this big a wally for so long, he's a genuine pillock our Summers, a pillock with a capitol P.
