I think the NFL is living in fantasy land if they think the season is going to go off as planned. They can try. And they might. But I don't know why they would. Once one or two players are confirmed infected it's all over anyway. And then they just look like idiots for putting everyone at risk. I think the virus panic will mostly be over by the time football season rolls around. The country can’t just shut down for an endless period of time. I wonder how many business will fail because of this. Mom and pops for sure, but a lot of major brick and mortar retailers are barely hanging on. I mean personally I like going to Barnes & Noble but they were hanging by a thread before the plague. Can they survive? How many restaurants will survive? On the topic at hand, I see no harm in holding a draft without a crowd in attendance. That’s all just noise anyway. The NFL is the one league that hasn’t officially shut down so people are starving for it.
