Actress Beryl Te Wiata has died at the age of 92. Te Wiata appeared in two of Antony Ginnane's best-loved horror productions, 'Strange Behavior' (1981) and 'Mesmerized' (1985).
Actor Don Gordon has died aged 90. Gordon was one of the silver screen's redoubtable tough guys and an essential fixture in a string of hard-nosed crime dramas.
Filmmaker Edwin Sherin has died aged 87. Sherin directed the contemplative war drama 'My Old Man's Place' (1971) and the character western 'Valdez Is Coming' (1971).
Yoshimitsu Banno has died aged 86. Banno was a distinguished technical artist who began as an assistant to Akira Kurosawa, later becoming a director at Toho.
Ken Miller has died at the age of 85. The handsome actor from Springfield, Ohio made waves in several authentic American drive-in classics.

Talented character player David Macklin has died; he too was 76. The gifted bohemian from Cincinnati, Ohio became a hugely respected acting coach in his later years.
Greek actress Mary Tsoni has died aged 30. In addition to delivering several critically acclaimed performances, Tsoni also delivered poetry recitals and sang in the punk band Mary And The Boy.
