I love finding old movie sites and seeing what they look like today. While watching a film from the '40s or '50s in a street scene, if I spot a movie theater or hotel or department store in the background, I will pause the film and search for addresses for those places so I can use Google maps to look at the site today. Sometimes the buildings are still there, esp. if it is located outside of Los Angeles. In L.A., any particular place is likely to be gone and replaced if it is older than about 20 years.
