I don't know why they have light sabers at all when they can just force kill everybody. Plus they can stop blaster bolts in mid air or block them with their hands (Vader in ESB). Heck, according to some of you guys getting shot in the gut with a blaster doesn't even slow them down. Hell even if they do get killed what difference does it make? They just continue on as force ghosts.  Eh dodnt think it's fair to count Vader's durability as a fixture to all force users, he is essentially an evil Robocop with psychic powers after all, far more durable than the average meat sack.
