So my wife has just got back from our weekly shopping run (she last went 8 days ago). Our local Sainsbury's are still doing an amazing job and all distancing rules from last week are in place. The biggest difference to last week is the presence of the police and EVERYONE is being stopped and asked what they are doing. When told she was going for the weekly shop she was asked the last time she went shopping, she had the presence of mind to keep the receipt from the last shop and showed it to the police man. She was only allowed to continue when she showed them the mask and gloves she was going to where once out of the car. The other main difference was a lot less people about. There wasn't a queue at all at the local green grocer and she only saw one other car moving on the road on her 12 mile round trip and maybe 30 to 40 people queuing to get in the supermarket so it seems people are staying in more around here.
