I didnt really like The Shallows either. It also had a comically stupid ending where the girl somehow doesn't get killed. She literally out-swims a great white shark and forces it smash it's face into the ocean floor and kill itself. Unbelievably stupid. But she was on the swim team  She was? I thought she was just a hobby surfer, who dropped out of medical school because her mom died or some such exposition bullshit that we learn by her phone appearing on the screen. Got I hate that shit. That movie sucks. |
