Rogue One was just trashed less and for a less amount of time. For a time, people were saying that the Vader scene saved the movie.
I say this pretty much everywhere. Star Wars is nostalgia. That "toxic fandom" hate the movies when they are current. Man I remembered when people hated the prequels. Absolutely hated them. They absolutely hated the Clone Wars series and especially because of Ahsoka. Now everyone loves it and can't wait for more Ahsoka (best female character in Star Wars!!!). Same went for Rebels and Ezra. I give it to the next set of main movies about Jedi and people will see the ST like they now see the PT and the PT will be loved like the OT.
Face it, the PT and ST are genuinely bad.
Baby Yoda is popular. Have you heard people talk about the show? They would have preferred it to be like 4-5 episodes long. The episodes that has to do with the main plot of the show.
And people are warming up to the PT.
